As an artist on YouTube, claiming your Official Artist Channel (OAC) brings together all your content and subscribers from various YouTube channels into one unified place. You’ll also gain access to a suite of tools designed specifically for artists, including Analytics for Artists.
Official Artist Channel Features
-
Consolidate Your Fans
With an OAC, YouTube combines subscribers from your topic channel, Vevo channel (if available), and your main channel into one. Your existing channel and topic channel will no longer display a subscriber count or the subscribe button. -
Increase in Subscriber Count
As Youtube consolidates your audience, you may see a boost in your OAC subscriber count. -
Expanded Reach for Your Music
Whether or not your subscribers are following your Official Artist Channel, they'll see your latest music videos. This merge enhances the promotion and distribution of your new music. -
Additional Features
Your OAC also provides access to Ticketing, Merch, and Analytics for Artists.
